The webmaster of this site is Isadore (Zev) Goldstein proprietor of Zuzim Judaea. Isadore is a leading dealer in ancient coinage and is a specialist in the coins of ancient Israel. Recognized as one of the leading experts in this field, he has been serving the interests of coin collectors, numismatists and museums since 2003. Isadore has published a number of groundbreaking articles in the area of Jewish numismatics. These acclaimed articles have been published in prestigious journals such as the American Numismatic Association journal and the Celator. Some of his views have been adopted by other scholars as well. Isadore is also a member in good standing with the Israel Numismatic Association, the American Numismatic Association ANA and AINA.
Isadore continues to delve into various areas of numismatics and is currently researching ancient weight standards, dies of the first revolt and the coins of Mattathias Antigonus.
